Zaphkiel, the Heavenly Prince of Wisdom
Note: This character can only be played by the ST. This character is not found in Convergence city. This character can be ICly written to by means of a ST ticket.
The Seraphim, the remaining angels with a connection to Heaven, are led by Michael. The lower orders, or Elohim, are those who can no longer reach Heaven. The Elohim, under the direction of a relatively unknown archangel named Zaphkiel, the Heavenly Prince of Wisdom, have joined the Consortium to help protect one of the main pneuma sources left on the planet - humanity. Zaphkiel is the Archangel that the Canticle and Magnificat of Lost Psalm sometimes communicates with.
Since heaven closed, the Elohim have been taught by Zaphkiel how to directly siphon pneuma from humans, as well as objects and places of power. There are many ways to do so, but when it comes to humans, they often involve encouraging the seven heavenly virtues, and preventing the seven deadly sins.
Zaphkiel's headquarters for the Elohim.
Is located on a mysterious island in the Mediterranean. Like Convergence, it seems to have just "appeared" out of nowhere. It is said that it can only be seen or approached by the faithful, though the faithful can also drag non-faithful along with them for entry. It is very heavily fortified. The island is called Neveha, which is (of course) an anagram of "Heaven". Unlike Convergence, it's believed that this city was constructed, with Earth Magic having pulled it up out of the water, and Naturalism used to stimulate plant growth.
Zaphkiel, who is called "Zak" by those close to him, is known to be the "least" of the Archangels. However, because he is known as the bearer of God's Wisdom, he is well-respected. Although many Elohim believe a number of Seraphim were corrupted or led astray after the disappearance of Ael, many were touched by Zaphkiel forsaking his ability to return to Heaven in order to stay behind with the Elohim and guide them. He is known to be "kind of a health nut", and is a vegetarian. His most well known Blessed (Seraphim can have many more than Elohim), a mage who he calls "Elijah", often travels to deliver his messages.
