Leadership roles:
Canticle:
The Canticle is the head of the Lost Psalm. They speak with Ael's voice to the Choir. Orders from the Canticle are expected to be followed to the best of everyone’s ability. Only the Canticle may declare war on or affirm an alliance with another faction. All potential Blessed must be approved by the Canticle before being allowed into the Choir. - Canticle reports to the Archangel
Magnificat:
The Magnificat is the second in command of the Lost Psalm. A trusted position that reports directly to the Canticle whilst helping oversee the day to day goings on of the rest of the Choir. Their primary responsibility is to make sure everything is running smoothly with the Venite and Benedictum while also handling the occasional intake of new Elohim should the Canticle wish it. If the Canticle is indisposed for any reason; command will fall to the Magnificat. - Magnificat reports to the Canticle.

Military and Inquisition roles:
Venite (also head Inquisitor):
The Venite acts as the Military Leader of the Choir. Their primary function is to manage the Inquisitors and lead military actions of the Choir if requested by the Canticle. The acquisition of new weaponry as well as its maintenance is handled by this sect of the Choir, as well as all military acts from the capture of Rogue elements, to leading forces in times of war, to leading an Inquisition. If, for any reason, the Canticle and Magnificat are incapable of carrying out their duties; command falls to the Venite. The Venite it the third in command of the Choir. - Venite reports to the Magnificat.
Inquisitor:
The Inquisitors are the main intelligence gatherers for the forces of Ael on the island. This can range from interrogating prisoners, to spying on other factions, to conducting research. Furthermore, should the Canticle declare an Inquisition, it will be the duty of the Inquisitors under the Venite to carry out the Inquisition. In most cases this would involve the investigation of the Choir members, other factions, or the the population in Convergence in general, for signs of heresy and anti-Ael acts. More specific orders may be determined by the Canticle however. Inquisitor reports to the Venite.
Paladin:
Paladins act as battle-priests for the Choir. On the battlefield, they will serve as Ael's presence on the field, acting as beacons of faith and righteous fury, inspiring others with their single-minded devotion to Ael. Paladins may serve in the forces of other factions as well as the Choir, to act as Ael's presence among them. Within the Elohim forces, Paladins also act as military officers, serving under the Venite. - Paladins report to the Venite.

This includes the overseeing the magical items the Choir possesses, as well as often being the leading force of magical knowledge and power for the Choir. What this entails often depends on the talents of the particular Benedictum, such as a healer or an inventor. Due to the vast knowledge held by most Benedictum's, they often serve as leading scholars of the Choir, and oversee non-military research. - The Benedictum reports to the Magnificat.
Vespers:
The Vespers are Ambassadors. They work under the guidance of the Canticle and are sent to act as representatives of the Choir to other factions within Convergence, to ensure smooth diplomatic relations. Secondary to this, they are expected to report back any useful information they may come across regarding their assigned faction. It is common for a single Vesper to be assigned to each faction or location of note within the city. Those unassigned are often given research roles to better comprehend how we may reach out to, and engage with, the various races found within Convergence. -Vespers report to the Canticle.

The standard rank for all Elohim within a Choir. All Elohim, regardless of rank, are expected to aid the Choir in times of strife, as soldiers, medics, or in whatever fashion they are best suited for.
Blessed:
The position for all Blessed within the Choir. Blessed are allowed, and encouraged, to participate in other areas of the Choir as they like.
Faithful:
Non-Elohim who do not serve a specific Elohim (Blessed), who wish to devote their lives to Ael. (Also the 'Everyone' rank in the groups)

- Scholars: Are servants of the Benedictum, they are members of the Choir that specialize in a similar area of knowledge and research in magic and occult type matters. They are loyal subjects of curiosity and research, doing work for the choir with their specialized skills. They report directly to the Benedictum.

The Vespers are Ambassadors. They work under the guidance of the Canticle and are sent to act as representatives of the Choir to other factions within Convergence, to ensure smooth diplomatic relations.
